Carrots with Caraway

- 450 (1 ) carrots, cut into thin sticks
- 2 water
- 1 caraway seed
- 15 (1/2 ) butter
- 1 soft brown sugar
- Salt
- 1 parsley flat leaf
- sherry (optional)

- Place the carrots in a large pan with the water and Caraway Seeds. Cover and simmer gently for about 10 minutes until the carrots are tender. Drain and return to the pan.*
- Add the butter sugar and salt and cook for another 5 minutes, adding the sherry (if using) for the last couple of minutes of the cooking time.*
- Stir in the Parsley.*
