Salmon, dill and creme fraiche pasta

It’s so easy to fall in love with this creamy salmon and dill pasta dish. Ready in 15 minutes with a few simple ingredients and Schwartz® herbs and spices, it’s got all the makings of a memorable, flavourful meal.

- 1 extra virgin olive oil
- 1 garlic granules 145g
- 1 small red onion, finely diced
- 2 salmon fillets, skin removed, chopped into 2cm chunks
- 200 creme fraiche
- 1 dill
- 1/4 black peppercorns mill adjustable finely ground
- 1/4 sea salt mill adjustable
- Parmesan, finely grated to serve (optional)
- 150 linguine (or pasta of choice)

- In a medium saucepan, add salted water and bring to the boil. Add pasta and simmer for 10 minutes. *
- While the pasta cooks, make the sauce. In a medium frying pan, add the olive oil, heat on medium high, add the garlic granules and red onion. Fry for 3-4 minutes, while stirring regularly until softened.
- *
- Add salmon, creme fraiche, dill, salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer, stirring and flaking the salmon through the sauce. *
- Once the pasta is cooked, drain it reserving a little pasta water. Add the pasta to the sauce, mix well and add a little pasta water to loosen if needed. Season with extra salt and pepper to taste if needed. *
- Serve with finely grated parmesan if you like. *
