- Pre-heat oven to 150°C / 300°F / 130°C Fan / Gas Mark 2.
- In a medium saucepan, heat butter, golden syrup, brown sugar and treacle together until melted.
- Add the remaining ingredients and mix well with a wooden spoon.
- Immediately remove from the heat and pour into a deep 30cm x 22cm approx. baking tray lined with greaseproof paper.
- Bake in the centre of the pre-heated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until a skewer inserted to the middle comes out clean.
- Leave to cool in the tin, and slice into squares before serving.
