  • 120 grams unseasoned panko bread crumbs, divided
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons Schwartz® Ground Ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Schwartz® Garlic Granules
  • 3/4 teaspoon Schwartz® Sea Salt
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 large head cauliflower, cut into bite size florets (about 900 grams)
  • General Tso's Sauce
  • 350 mililitres water
  • 80 mililitres hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon caster sugar
  • 3 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 5 tablespoons corn starch
  • 1 teaspoon Schwartz® Garlic Granules
  • 1 teaspoon Schwartz® Ground Ginger
  • 1/4 teaspon Schwartz® Coarse Ground Black and Red Pepper

  1. For the Cauliflower, whisk eggs and water in small bowl. Mix panko, Ginger, Garlic, Salt and flour in shallow dish. Dip cauliflower in egg mixture, shaking to remove excess liquid. Transfer cauliflower to panko mixture; toss to coat well. Discard any remaining egg and panko mixtures.
  2. Spray air fryer basket with no stick cooking spray. Working in batches, place cauliflower in basket; do not overcrowd. Spray cauliflower with no stick cooking spray. Air fry 10 minutes at 180°C, gently shaking basket or tossing cauliflower halfway through cooking. Repeat with remaining cauliflower.
  3. Meanwhile, for the General Tso’s Sauce, whisk water, hoisin, soy sauce and sugar in a small saucepan on medium-high heat; bring to boil. Whisk vinegar, cornstarch, Garlic, Ginger and Pepper in small bowl. Add vinegar mixture to saucepan; return to a boil. Cook until thickened, about 1 minute. Toss cauliflower with sauce before serving.
  4. Cooking Tip Oven Method: Prepare cauliflower as directed. Bake on foil-lined shallow baking pan in preheated 450°F oven 18 to 20 minutes or until lightly browned and crispy. Toss with sauce before serving.
