  • Dipping Sauce
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoon runny honey
  • 4 teaspoons Frenchs® Classic Yellow Mustard
  • 2 teaspoons cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Schwartz® Garlic Granules
  • 1/2 teaspoon Schwartz® Paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon Schwartz® Onion Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Schwartz® Ground Black Pepper
  • Chicken Nuggets
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup pickle brine
  • 1 egg
  • 450 grams chicken breast fillets, cut into 1-inch chunks
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 3 tablespoons icing sugar
  • 2 tablespoon corn flour
  • 1 tablespoon Schwartz® Garlic Powder
  • 2 teaspoons Schwartz® Paprika
  • 2 teaspoons Schwartz® Onion Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Schwartz® Ground Black Pepper

Instructions

  1. For the Sauce, mix all ingredients in a small bowl. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
  2. For the Nuggets, whisk together milk, pickle juice and egg in large bowl. Add chicken; cover and refrigerate 30 minutes. Meanwhile, mix flour, icing sugar, corn flour and seasonings in large shallow dish. Set aside.
  3. Working in batches, remove nuggets from milk mixture, shaking to remove excess liquid. Transfer nuggets to flour mixture, tossing to coat; shake gently to remove excess flour. Dip nuggets in milk mixture again, allowing excess liquid to drip off. Return nuggets to flour mixture to coat well. Repeat with all chicken. Discard remaining milk and flour mixtures.
  4. Spray air fryer basket with cooking oil spray. Preheat air fryer on 200°C for 3 minutes. Place nuggets in single layer in basket; do not overcrowd. Spray lightly with cooking oil spray. Cook 5 minutes. Flip nuggets and spray again. Cook 5 minutes longer or until chicken is cooked through and lightly browned. Repeat with remaining nuggets. Serve with Dipping Sauce.
