Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 4 skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 sachet Garlic, Mushroom and Cream sauce Mix
  • 300 millilitres (½ pint) semi-skimmed milk
  • 300 grams (10 ounces) dried tagliatelle

A rich and comforting midweek dinner.

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil and fry the chicken for 3 minutes on each side, until browned.
  2. Mix the sachet contents with the milk and pour into the pan. Bring to the boil, stirring. Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
  3. Meanwhile, bring a large pan of salted water to the boil and cook the tagliatelle according to packet instructions. Drain and serve immediately with the chicken and sauce.
  4. Delicious served with wild rocket and grated Parmesan cheese.
