  • 4 x 225 grams (8 ounces) rump or sirloin steaks
  • 1 sachet Creamy Mild Peppercorn Sauce Mix
  • 300 millilitres (½ pint) semi-skimmed milk

Instructions

  1. Cook the steaks under the grill, or in a griddle pan, for 2 minutes on each side for rare, 4 minutes on each side for medium, or 6 minutes on each side for well done.
  2. Meanwhile, mix the sachet contents with the milk in a small saucepan. Bring to the boil, stirring. Simmer for 1–2 minutes, until thickened. Serve the sauce with the steak.
  3. Delicious served with chunky chips, garlic and parsley fried tomatoes and peas.
