Irresistible sticky BBQ Chicken Wings

- 450 (1 ) chicken wings
- Marinade:
- 2 tomato ketchup
- 2 classic bbq
- 2 Worcestershire sauce
- 1 brown sugar
- 1 white wine vinegar
- 1 Sriracha sauce
- to taste
- Garnish:
- 2 sesame seed toasted
- 2 spring onions, finely shredded

- Cut the chicken wings into drumettes and flats. Keep the wingtips for stock or discard.

- In a bowl mix together all the marinade ingredients and add the chicken wings. Toss to coat with the marinade and leave absorb the flavours for an hour, or best results overnight.

- Remove the chicken from the marinade and reserve in a small saucepan. Thread the chicken onto skewers keeping drumettes together and flats together as they cook for different times.

- Heat the BBQ until the coals are ready and cook the chicken for around 20 minutes, or until cooked through. You can also bake in the oven on a rack for 30 €“ 40 minutes at 180°C, 350°F, Gas Mark 5 until crispy and cooked through.

- Heat the rest of the marinade until it is reduced to a thick sticky sauce. Remove the chicken wings from their skewers and add to the sauce. Toss to coat the wings and then garnish with toasted sesame seeds and spring onions.
