  • 4 Rib-eye steak
  • 1 olive oil

  1. Pre-heat oven to 200 degrees fan.

  3. In a medium bowl, mix new potatoes with olive oil and smoky seasoning.

  5. Place on baking tray lined with baking paper and roast for 40-50 minutes until deeply golden and cooked through.

  7. Once the potatoes are 10 minutes away, cook the steak.

  9. On a plate, rub the steaks with olive oil and smoky seasoning. Heat a large frying pan until very hot and place the steaks in and get a nice crust and deep caramelisation on one side (approx. 3 minutes), flip the steak and cook for another 3 minutes.

  11. Boil a pan of water, cook the beans for 5-10 minutes until cooked, drain.

  13. Remove the steaks from the pan, leave to rest for 5 minutes. Once rested, slice on an angle with the grain and serve with green beans and roasted new potatoes.
