  • 750 grams new potatoes, halved
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  • 2 tablespoons Schwartz® All Rounder - Smoky, divided
  • 4 Rib-eye steaks
  • 500 grams green beans
  • Mayonnaise to serve (optional)

  1. Pre-heat oven to 220°C / 425°F / 200°C Fan / Gas Mark 7.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix new potatoes with 2 tablespoons olive oil and 1 tablespoon Smoky Seasoning.
  3. Place on baking tray lined with baking paper and roast for 40-50 minutes until deeply golden and cooked through.
  4. Once the potatoes are 10 minutes away, cook the steak.
  5. On a plate, rub the steaks with remnaining 1 tablspoon each olive oil and smoky seasoning. Heat a large frying pan until very hot over medium high heat and place the steaks in and get a nice crust and deep caramelisation on one side (approx. 3 minutes), flip the steak and cook for another 3 minutes.
  6. Boil a pan of water, cook the beans for 5-10 minutes until cooked, drain.
  7. Remove the steaks from the pan, leave to rest for 5 minutes. Once rested, slice on an angle with the grain and serve with green beans and roasted new potatoes.
