- 1 tablespoon oil
- 450 grams (1 pound) lean pork, cubed
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 sachet Somerset Pork Casserole
- 300 millilitres (½ pint) cider
- 1 apple, cored and sliced

- Preheat the oven to 190°C, 375°F, Gas Mark 5.
- Heat oil, fry pork and onion for 3-4 minutes. Transfer to a casserole dish.
- Mix sachet contents with water and add to casserole dish. Cover and cookfor 1 hour or until meat is tender, adding the apple for the last 30 minutes.
- Serve with sautéed potatoes ans steamed green beans.
