A mildly spiced seasoning blend with garlic, green bell pepper powder and chilli pepper inspired by PizzaExpress Sloppy Giuseppe Pizza.
PizzaExpress Chef suggests... trying with plant-based mince. Also great for meatballs; fry diced onion and pepper for 5 mins, add the seasoning, 400g tin chopped tomatoes, 125ml water and browned meatballs. Bring to the boil, cover and simmer for 15 mins. Serve with pasta and grated cheese.

- 1 green pepper, diced
- 1 small red onion, diced
- 400 tin chopped tomatoes
- 1 tomato purée
- 600 boiling water
- 275 rigatoni pasta (uncooked)
- 75 mozzarella and/or Cheddar cheese, grated

- Pre-heat oven to 180°C, 350°F, Gas Mark 4*
- Fry mince until browned, add the seasoning, pepper and onion, and cook for a further 3-4 minutes, before adding chopped tomatoes, tomato purée, water and pasta.*
- Bring to the boil, then reduce the heat, cover and simmer for 12-15 minutes. Transfer to an ovenproof dish, top with cheese and cook in the oven for 10-15 minutes, or until bubbling and golden brown. *
