A classic Italian-style lasagne of layered pasta and a rich tomato and meat sauce topped with a cheese sauce. A great family favourite, delicious served with garlic bread and salad.

- 450 (1 ) extra lean beef mince beef
- 1 lasagne
- 150 (¼ ) water
- 400 tin chopped tomatoes
- 1 tomato purée
- 6 sheets lasagne pasta
- 300 (½ ) white sauce
- 50 (2 ) Cheddar cheese, grated

- Pre-heat the oven to 180°C, 350°F, Gas Mark 4.*
- Brown mince for 4-5 minutes. Drain excess liquid. Mix sachet contents with water and add to the pan with tomatoes and purée. Bring to the boil, stirring and simmer for 5 minutes.*
- Place alternate layers of the beef mixture and pasta into an ovenproof dish, topping with a layer of white sauce. Sprinkle with cheese and bake for 35-40 minutes.*
- Serve with tomato salad and garlic bread.*
