- Preheat oven to 190°C / 375°F / 170°C Fan / Gas Mark 5. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with baking parchment paper. Place cottage cheese in a blender container; cover. Blend about 30 seconds on high speed, scraping down sides as needed until smooth.
- Transfer cottage cheese to medium bowl. Add flour, stirring just until mixture comes together to form a shaggy dough mass. Turn out onto lightly floured surface. Knead about 30 seconds to 1 minute, sprinkling lightly with additional flour as needed, until no longer sticky. Shape dough into a ball. Let rest 10 minutes.
- Divide dough into 8 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a 17cm rope and pinch ends together. Transfer bagels to prepared baking sheet and brush with egg. Sprinkle with Sesame Seeds, Poppy Seeds, Cinnamon or any other flavourful seasoning.
- Bake 25 to 28 minutes or until tops are lightly browned and bagels are puffed. Cool on wire rack 10 minutes before serving or cool completely and store in an air-tight container in refrigerator up to 1 week. Serve with your favorite spread or use for breakfast sandwiches.
- Cooking Tip Make your own Everything Bagel Seasoning at home, mix 1 teaspoon Schwartz® Sesame Seeds,1 teaspoon Schwartz® Poppy Seeds,1/2 teaspoon Schwartz® Sea Salt,1/2 teaspoon Schwartz® Minced Garlic and 1/4 teaspoon Schwartz® Onion Granules. Sprinkle on bagels before baking.
