CHICKEN WING RECIPE WITH CHILLI AND LIME SAUCE

Try this delicious chicken wings recipe with chilli and lime sauce and impress your guests. A super tasty recipe glazed with sauce made by FRANK'S RedHot® sauces.

Ingredients

  • 1 kilograms chicken wings, split and tips discarded
  • 100 mililiters FRANKS RedHot Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce
  • 60 grams butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons plain flour
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 lime... zest and juice

Instructions

  1. To start, preheat the oven at 200°C, 400°F, Gas Mark 6.
  2. Place the chicken wings into a large bowl and toss the flour. Use a large baking tray to spread them out, drizzle with vegetable oil and cook for 35-40 minutes until they get crispy and golden. Dont forget to turn them over halfway through! Alternatively deep fry the chicken wings at 180°C (350°F) for 12 minutes until is cooked and crispy and drain on kitchen paper.
  3. For the sauce, combine FRANK'S RedHot® Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce with the butter, lime juice and zest. Toss the hot and crispy wings into the sauce to coat. Return the chicken wings into the oven for 10 more minutes, brushing them after 5 minutes.
  4. Your chicken wings with chilli and lime sauce should now be ready to serve, enjoy!
